 How to analyze a truss structure in Ansys Mechanical APDL using APDL coding language


Ansys Parametric Design Language (APDL) is a powerful structured scripting language used to interact with the Ansys Mechanical solver. This coding method can be used to speed up simulations since the modelling and analysis can be done with the code without having to manually manipulate the GUI. 
These APDL commands can also be used within the workbench in the setup of different solvers. 

The following video shows a simple truss structure modelling and analysis using APDL coding.
